Privacy policy
Sprite Agents is a personal-use assistant operated by Paul Robbins. This page explains how the app handles connected email and chat data.

What the app accesses
With your Google consent, Sprite Agents receives the connected account's email address and the access keys needed to use Gmail. When you ask a sprite about email, the app can retrieve matching message summaries, selected headers, message text, attachment names and links to the original emails. Attachment contents are not downloaded in the current version.
The Google connection requests read-and-write permission. The current app allows only searching and reading. It does not send, draft, label, delete or mark email as read. Each connected mailbox is granted to specific sprites.
How email is used and shared
Email search results and message text are used to answer your requests. They are sent to the AI service selected for the chat: OpenAI through Codex or Anthropic through Claude. That service processes the supplied information under its applicable terms, privacy policy and account settings.
Sprite Agents does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or use it to train its own AI models. Email content is not automatically saved to shared project memory or made available to other sprites.
Where data is stored
The app stores Google access keys in a private folder on the host computer, restricted to the operating-system account running the app. These keys are not passed to the AI or the browser. This storage is not separately encrypted by Sprite Agents.
Chat messages, answers and email text used during a chat may remain in local chat and AI-session history until removed by the owner. The selected AI provider may also retain data according to its own settings and policies.
Paired remote devices can view conversations and account labels. When remote access is enabled, traffic passes through the configured connection provider; the current setup uses an HTTPS Cloudflare Tunnel. Google access keys remain on the host computer.
Stopping access and removing data
Use Email connection → Remove in Sprite Agents to remove a sprite's mailbox access. Removing the final sprite grant also clears the stored access-key reference. You can separately revoke Sprite Agents in your Google Account's third-party connections settings.
Disconnecting does not erase earlier chats or AI-session history. Contact the operator at the address above to arrange removal of locally stored chat data. Copies retained by an AI provider or in owner-managed backups are subject to those services and storage settings.
